Multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100.
Remember that if you multiply by 10 you move all the digits one place to the left, so you make the number ten times bigger. If you are multiplying by 100, move the digits two places to the left.
When dividing by 10 move all the digits one place to the right, so you are making the number 10 times smaller (you may need a decimal point). If you are dividing by 100, move the digits two places to the right.
