Welcome to Pankhurst Class
Pankhurst Class is one of two Year 5 classes at St John's C of E Primary School. We are named after Emmeline Pankhurst (a British political activist who, in 1918, organised the British suffragette movement, helping women to win the right to vote in Great Britain and Ireland.)
Miss Allen is our class teacher on Monday through to Thursday, and Mr Collins is our class teacher on Friday. Mrs Groves is our wonderful Teaching Assistant with us throughout the week.
PE this year is taught by Mr Parsons and will be on Tuesday morning. Children can come into school in PE kits on this day. Details of our school uniform can be found on this page: https://www.stjohnscofeprimary.co.uk/uniform/ in the parents section of the website.
Just a quick reminder that we are a NUT FREE school, so please take care when sending in snacks or packed lunches. Morning snacks should be fruit or vegetables, and drinks bottles should contain water please.

What an exciting year we have ahead of us, and we are really looking forward to our journey together.
