Home learning
Throughout the school we will continue to have a consistent approach to homework. In every year group there are three things we ask you to help and support your child with:
- Regular Reading- Linked to the Reading Challenge of reading 4 times (or more) a week. Listening and supporting your child with their reading and completing their reading log.
- Weekly Spellings/Phonics- Helping your child to learn, remember and apply their spellings/phonics for their weekly spelling test.
- Weekly Times Tables/Mental Number Skills- Helping your child to learn, remember and apply these skills during the week.
- In Year 5&6 there will be English and Maths linked to learning.
