Spellings will be taught 4 days a week and there will be a spelling test each Friday. New spellings will be given out on Fridays for the children to practise at home.
The children will also have a weekly Times Tables sheet to practise at home.
Our St John's Reading Challenge will continue and the children are expected to read at least 4 times every week. After 25 reads they will earn a Reading Champion badge. Please do support your child with their home learning if you can.

Below, you will find Maths, Literacy, History and Art work to complete at home.
Multiplication Tables: You can choose whether to complete the sheet with just multiplication or give yourself a challenge and do the mixed multiplication and division questions.
There is also a choice of Bronze or Silver (challenge) arithmetic.
Literacy: There are instructions on how to write a poem linked to Remembrance Day.
There is also a comprehension linked to our Stone Age History topic.
Art: There are two different Remembrance Day Art activities. You can choose which one you would like to complete.
Please bring your completed work into school on Monday 13th November.
