Times Tables

By the end of Year 4 the children should know all the times tables facts up to 12 x 12 and be able to use these for division (the inverse).

If your child can learn the 36 Essential Facts, they will be able to work out all the other facts. Please do practise the times tables at home with your child.

Ways to practise times tables:

  • Times Tables Rockstars - all children can access their login details using the sheet attached to the inside of their Reading Records.
  • There are lots of websites to practise learning times tables (see below).
  • Some children find learning songs useful with recalling times tables facts. We use Super Movers in school and YouTube also has useful multiplication songs.
