Reading

Here at St. John's, we love reading.  Along with your child's school reading book, you could also encourage other reading alongside. Please remember to record all reading in their yellow reading diary and ensure your child returns their book and book bag to school daily, so we can record their progress.

I have set all children with 'Epic Reading' logins and those details have been sent home.  This is ONLY available for free 7am - 3pm weekdays.  Please do NOT feel obliged to pay the full subscription.  We do access it in class.  Please record any Epic Reading in their yellow diary, as this will go towards their weekly reading challenge. smiley

I have added some links below, suggesting alternative books that are suitable for children in Year 3.  Some books may be easier, while others may be more challenging to read.

Please remember that books are FREE to borrow, if you are a member of the local town library.  The staff are very helpful in ordering books in if they do not have them.

Happy reading everyone.
