Welcome to the Hawking Class page.
We are named after the famous English scientist Stephen Hawking, who was best known for his work on explaining the origins of the universe and black holes.
We are excited to be starting a new year in Year 4. It will be another busy year with lots of great topics. Please open the curriculum folder (below) to see what we will be covering this term. Miss Roberts will be in class Mon, Tues, Wed and Fri. Mr McFadzean will be in class on Thursdays. Mrs Webb will be in class every morning. If you need a quick chat at the start or end of the day, please let us know. Miss Waygood will support reading in the afternoons.
PE with Mr Parsons will be on Tuesday afternoons. The children can wear their PE kits to school on Tuesdays.
We are a NUT FREE school, so please take care when sending in snacks or packed lunches. Morning snacks should be fruit or vegetables, and drinks bottles should contain water please.
