Week 4, Autumn term

Welcome to Pulman!

Welcome to Pulman class. As you can see from the photo above, Pulman class were this week's Attendance Trophy winners, so well done all! Keep it up! There is lots of excitment about the carnival this weekend, good luck to anyone who is part of the procession!

We have been continuing to learn about ancient Greece this week as part of our monster topic.  We are planning a Greek Agora day later on this term, more details will follow closer to the date. To find out more about our work this term, click on the document link below.

This term we are swimming on Fridays, so swimming kit needs to be brought in each Friday. The children also have PE on a Monday and are fortunate enough to be learning the ukulele on a Friday, so a very busy term in store!

Have a lovely weekend
Mrs Gage

Homework

Each week the children will be set homework. This will usually be their regular reading, spellings and then one other.

This week's homework:

Reading

Spellings - Regular Verb Endings - test on Wednesday 1st October

Topic - The Greek Number System - the children have all been given a worksheet with the Greek numbers on. They need to use that to work out other numbers and the answer to calculations.

I will save any spellings or worksheets in the 'Homework Documents' section at the bottom of this page. Just in case!

Congratulations

I would like to introduce our new class counsellors, who prepared a short speech stating why they would make a good counsellor. They were then elected by their peers, so well done Archie and Susan.

Congratulations also to Susan and Archie who won awards this week. Well done to both of you.
