Welcome to Pulman!
Wow! What a busy week we have had! We started the week with our Remembrance service on Monday. On Tuesday we spent the day thinking about Remembrance day and why it is important. I hope you have had the chance to see the stained glass windows that we made during the day. On Wednesday we were Ancient Greeks for the day! The children had the opportunity to try lots of different Greek arts during the day. We also tried eating like Greeks in the afernoon, I think there were mixed reactions to the Greek food! Pulman Class also held a mini Olympics, before the end of the day. I hope the children have told you all about the day, but if not, there are some pictures in our gallery at the bottom of the page. Today we were all heroes, it was lovely to see the children all dressed up, Paris even came as Mrs Gage!
As we have now finished learning about Ancient Greece, we are moving on to learn about the works of Roald Dahl and Quentin Blake in our 'Partners in Rhyme' topic. The children brought letters home last week that included this half-term's overview.
This term the children will continue to have PE on a Monday and on a Friday, so they need to keep their PE kits in school.
Have a lovely weekend

I would like to introduce our new class counsellors, who prepared a short speech stating why they would make a good counsellor. They were then elected by their peers, so well done Archie and Susan.
They received their new School Council Ties today, so that they can be easily identified within the school.
Pulman Class Choir with their very smart new badges!
Well done India and Paris for receiving certificates in assembly this week. Keep up the good work!
