Year 5 children will be sent home one piece of grammar and one piece of mental maths homework each week. In additIon to this we expect children to read for a minimum of 10 minutes each evening.
Spellings will be sent home each Thursday and tested on a Monday morning.
It is expected that children will be fluent in all times tables by the end of year 4. If your child has not reached this level they would benefit greatly from practising them at home.
