Choir Performance

Welcome to Pulman!

It was lovely to welcome everyone back after the October half-term holiday. I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable time. We have already kicked this term off with a busy week! We have had choir rehearsals, followed by a brilliant performance on Wednesday night by the choir, and a trip to the cinema in Bridgwater to watch 'Bugsy Malone'. Have a look below for photos of the new badges that the choir received today.

As part of our Greek topic, we are holding our Greek Agora day on Wednesday 12th November. The children have all taken letters home today with more details. It should be an exciting and informative day, and a great  way to finish our Greek topic.

We will then be moving on to learn about the works of Roald Dahl and Quentin Blake in our 'Partners in Rhyme' topic. The children brought letters home this week that included this half-term's overview.

This term the children will continue to have PE on a Monday and on a Friday, so they need to keep their PE kits in school.

Have a lovely weekend
Mrs Gage

Homework

Each week the children will be set homework. This will usually be their regular reading, spellings and then one other.

This week's homework:

Reading

Spellings -  Suffixes

Maths - mental maths practice

I will save any spellings or worksheets in the 'Homework Documents' section at the bottom of this page. Just in case!

Congratulations

I would like to introduce our new class counsellors, who prepared a short speech stating why they would make a good counsellor. They were then elected by their peers, so well done Archie and Susan.

They received their new School Council Ties today, so that they can be easily identified within the school.

Pulman Class Choir with their very smart new badges!
