Update
Sadly we are now back in a situation where most learning will be done from home. Please use the Home Learning folder to find work and activities.
I will be organising Zoom meetings for the class and all children will be expected to take part so that I can see how you all are and share lesson information. More details to follow.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy new year.
I hope you had a restful Christmas. Hopefully, life will return to 'normal' soon.
Our main topics this term will be: Living Things and Their Habitats, and Marvellous Maps. More information about these topics can be found in the Class Planning folder.
P.E. lessons will be on Tuesdays and the children can wear their PE kits to school on Tuesdays.
Homework will consist of reading, spellings and learning the multiplication tables. these are the three key areas that we have identified for children to practise at home in order to catch up. Please support your child with their home reading. We will also set half termly projects to be completed at home. More details to follow.
If you need to speak to myself or Mrs Groves, please see me outside class before school for a quick chat, or ring the office for an appointment.
Once again, if you are self isolating and well enough to work, please use the link for Home Learning.

Miss Roberts
Here we are at the end of the autumn term. It has been rather strange, but very busy and the children have worked really hard in all the different subjects that we have covered.
We have enjoyed the Christmas festivities - a pantomime, nativity, KS1 play and the whole school Christmas carol service. Everyone worked hard to practise, learn and film these and they are all memorable performances.
I hope you all have a restful break with your families and we will see you back in January 2021!
WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!
Hello and welcome to the new school year and to Lark Class, Year 5.
The children have made a good start and have settled in well to the new routines around school. Thank you to all parents for your support.
Please use the yellow star folders to see planning, photographs, letters etc.
Our main topic this term will be finding out all about the Anglo Saxons - an exciting period of British History.
