Net Wall Festival

Welcome to Pulman!

Welcome back everyone. I hope that you all had a restful and enjoyable Easter, and didn't eat too many Easter eggs!

On Wednesday this week, we all went to The Princess Royal Sport Centre, to take part in a Net/Wall sports festival. The children were all fantastically well behaved. They all participated well and really enjoyed themselves. I have put some photos in the gallery below.

We have started our new topic 'Jungle Japers'. We will be learning about rainforests and the species that live in them. As part of this topic, we are going to visit Paignton Zoo, we are also planning a walk to Wellington Park. The children should have received a letter regarding the zoo visit before half-term. Can I please remind you to fill these out and bring the forms and the money back into school as soon as possible. Please see the sub-pages below for this half-term's class letter and planning overview.

PE will be on a Monday and Pulman Class are swimming on a Friday, so can you ensure that PE kits are kept in school. The children will also continue to learn the ukulele with Miss Roberts this half-term.

Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Gage

Homework

Each week the children will be set homework. This will usually be their regular reading, spellings and then one other.

This week's homework:

Reading

Spellings
 - We are learning  high frequency words.

Maths - the children have addition of fractions to complete this week.

I will save any spellings or worksheets in the 'Homework Documents' section at the bottom of this page. Just in case!

Congratulations

I would like to introduce our new class counsellors, who prepared a short speech stating why they would make a good counsellor. They were then elected by their peers, so well done Archie and Susan.

They received their new School Council Ties today, so that they can be easily identified within the school.

Pulman Class Choir with their very smart new badges!

Well done to A'Lorah for receiving a merit certificate in our celebration assembly this week. Keep up the good work.
