1st April

Today is the last day of the spring term. It is hard to believe, as this seems to have been such a long term for everyone. It is also, of course, the 1st of April, so here is a riddle for you to try and solve.

Why is everyone so tired on April 1st?

You can tell me the answer in our Zoom meeting at 9.30am. The log in details are the same as before.

Activities for today are below.

Easter Maths

Today, we are practising symmetry.

Using the egg sheets, you need to draw carefully to complete a symmetrical pattern. Choose which pattern/s you want to try.

If you don't have a printer, you could draw an egg shape, fold it in half, design one half and then make the other half a mirror image.

There are also some Easter maths challenges for you to try.

No writing today, unless you need to complete something that you have started this week but not managed to finish.

Instead, why not try some Easter baking or making.

Have a look at the ideas below.

If you feel like baking some tasty Easter treats for your family, try one of these recipes.
As we have not managed to finish reading our class novel - Charlotte's Web - this half term, maybe you could watch the film over the Easter break. I know it is available on several streaming services.
