Spring Term 2021

Work and activities to do at home during the current lockdown.
We are suggesting that children should be doing 3-4 hours of work each day. This will include Maths, English and one other subject (eg History/Science/RE).
If the work is differentiated (at different levels) then your child can choose which level they work at. They are familiar with this system.
Reading should be a daily activity, as should spelling practice.
Other things like 55 Club and TTRockstars can be done whenever you want to.
We have exercise books in school for every child to use at home, if you can pop up to school to collect one.
It is important that children at home access the curriculum that their classmates are benefitting from. With this in mind, it is advisable they have a daily Maths and English session, and that they complete one Science, History/Geography, and one RE lesson during the week.
Having plenty of exercise will also be important, providing they are fit enough.
