Y5 visit to Coldharbour Mill
History came alive this week when Pankhurst Class went to visit Coldharbour Mill to experience what life was like in a Fox Brothers mill. They learnt about children working in the mills and what a hard life it could be, as well as looking at how the cloth was made from start to finish using the old machines. Surprisingly, some of Pankhurst class wanted to work in a mill at the end of the day!
