Welcome to the Year 5 Hawking Class page.
We are named after the famous English scientist Stephen Hawking, who was best known for his work on explaining the origins of the universe and black holes.
We are looking forward to another busy year with lots of great topics. Please open the curriculum folder (below) to see what we will be covering.
P.E.
PE with Mr Parsons will be on Tuesday afternoons and also Friday mornings. For the first half of the autumn term, Year 5 will also have a Cricket session with a visiting Cricket coach. The children can wear PE kits to school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
We are a NUT FREE school, so please take care when sending in snacks or packed lunches. Morning snacks should be fruit or vegetables only, and drinks bottles should contain water please.
