Pankhurst Class is one of two Year 6 classes at St John's C of E Primary School. We are named after Emmeline Pankhurst (a British political activist who, in 1918, organised the British suffragette movement, helping women to win the right to vote in Great Britain and Ireland.)
Miss Allen is our class teacher on Monday through to Thursday, and Mr Collins is our class teacher on Friday. Ms Toon is our amazing teaching assistant. We are also lucky to have Mr Chambers working with us every morning too.
PE this year is taught by Mr Parsons and will be on Tuesday morning. Children can come into school in PE kits on this day. Details of our school uniform can be found on the uniform page in the parents section of the website.
Just a quick reminder that we are a NUT FREE school, so please take care when sending in snacks or packed lunches. Morning snacks should be fruit or vegetables, and drinks bottles should contain water please.
We are looking forward to another great year of investigation, exploration and knowledge gathering. Keep an eye on the following sections to find out what we are doing in Pankhurst Class this term:
