Hello and welcome back to the Summer Term, 2023 and to Heather Class’s webpage. The children are continuing to work well and are enjoying their learning.  Have a look at the curriculum star to find out more about what we shall be learning this half term.

We would like to stress with you the importance of hearing your child read every night, if you can, but on a minimum of 4 occasions in the week, if time is short. Please make sure you write into your child’s reading diary every time they read to you. After 25 reads they will earn a Reading Champion badge. 

We have PE every Tuesday and ask that children come into school ready for PE.

Children should also bring in a named water bottle each day so they can keep hydrated.

Please could all jumpers/cardigans/hoodies be labelled so they can be returned to the rightful owner.

The children have weekly spellings to learn at home. They will receive a list each Friday of words to learn and be tested the following Friday. Please make sure they return their completed spellings sheet to class once completed.
