Angel Week

Welcome to Pulman!

Well we are nearly at the end of another term, and what a busy one it has been. It was lovely to see so many people at the Christmas Fair last Friday, thank you for all your support.

This week we have been thinking about angels all week. Pulman class have been involved in stories, singing, drama, artwork and writing all with a focus on angels. Have a look at our photos below to see some of the things that we have been doing. Thank you to all the mums, dads, aunties, uncles and friends that joined us yesterday afternoon to make our angel cards. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did! I also hope that many of you were able to join the children at the church service after school.

Our final week will be a busy one, and it is unlikely that the children will have PE, due to the hall being used for the KS1 performance. We are having a party on Thursday afternoon to celebrate the coming Christmas holiday, but also to say goodbye to Mrs Rowe who is leaving us to take up a Head Teacher's position. I know the children will be very sad to see her go.

Have a restful weekend
Mrs Gage

Homework

Each week the children will be set homework. This will usually be their regular reading, spellings and then one other.

This week's homework:

Reading

Spellings -  This week the children have chosen their own spellings to practice, they need to bring their sheet back on Friday for their final spelling test of 2014!

I will save any spellings or worksheets in the 'Homework Documents' section at the bottom of this page. Just in case!

Congratulations

I would like to introduce our new class counsellors, who prepared a short speech stating why they would make a good counsellor. They were then elected by their peers, so well done Archie and Susan.

They received their new School Council Ties today, so that they can be easily identified within the school.

Pulman Class Choir with their very smart new badges!

Well done to Bailey and Paris for receiving certificates in assembly this week. Keep up the good work!
