St John's C of E Primary School

"Sharing joy and hope in the community."

Saturday 23rd February

For all of us who thought that Spring was coming with the lighter mornings, there was a rude shock with the dramatic drop in temperature this week!  However, the cold weather didn't freeze spirits this week, as we had another busy week in school.

Thank you to everybody who attend the parents' evening this week; remember that you can access your child's progress report through their unqiue, password proected, secure website. Please speak to your child's class teacher if you have misplaced the details.

The display at the front of the school is currently showing the photos of the children in KS2 during the activities from our Hindu visitor - they look super!

I had a meeting this week with the area representative from the NSPCC who will be working with the children later on in the calendar year.  She was most enthusiastic about the school, saying how modern it felt and how wonderful it was to see the children with their certificates.  It was lovely to hear.

Have a great weekend, I'm off to make a hot mug of coffee, and settle down on the sofa to see if England can continue their winning ways in the 6 Nations rugby...
