The reading challenge
The reading challenge is organised by Miss Roberts, our Literacy Leader. Every time a child has read 4 times in a week, they are given a raffle ticket and entered into the class draw. At the end of each half term, a raffle ticket is drawn from each class. Each winner then receives a book of their choice.
It was a pleasure to take the winners of the reading challenge to our local WHSmith to choose a book of their choice. Well done everyone.
Year 3&4 School Trip
The children from Year 3&4 had a fabulous trip to the Wellington Monument and Sheppys centre. They learnt all about the different types of apples and had the opportunity to collect some. Next week the children will be making lots of different food using the apples they collected.
FlipOut Fun
We were very fortunate to be offered a sneak preview of the new FlipOut centre in Wellington. All the children (and even the staff!) had a fabulous morning.
