The year 6 children of St. John's Primary school, Wellington, had a brilliant afternoon at St. John's church.
They spent the afternoon reflecting about the transitions they will soon be going through, about their time at primary school and their hopes for secondary school.
The children took part in trust exercises, guiding each other around unknown paths, and trust falls.
After this the children then had the option to do some art, singing or a guided trail around the church grounds.
The children loved the activities, and it was a very special afternoon for them all to work together, build on their friendships and prepare themselves for their move to secondary school.
