Families and friends were in awe of the children at St John’s as they performed their Christmas play ‘The Hoity Toity Angel’.
The performance is the nativity story with a rather bossy angel who soon learns to show compassion and love to all as she begins to discover all about the birth of baby Jesus.
The children have worked so hard this half term, with the support of staff and families, learning lines and songs, and it all came together this week - initially performing in front of the whole school, and then to friends and families.
'Congratulations to the Year 1 and 2 teams for this fantastic production! It was a pleasure watching it yesterday - I was delighted to see the children perform with such confidence and enthusiasm.' said Mr Priestley. 'The families thoroughly enjoyed the show and I appreciate the effort put into making this happen. Well done to everybody involved in the performance!'
