The pupil chaplains of St. John's Primary school, Wellington, hosted a wonderful tea party at St. John's church on Thursday 14th July.
The pupil chaplains set up the church hall with lots of delicious cakes, tea, and squash. They then invited the year 5 class from school along with members of the church community to join each other for a lovely afternoon together.
Everyone shared stories and chatted about school life; the chaplains also retold a bible story through drama.
It was a wonderful afternoon for all, and the children thoroughly enjoyed sharing joy and hope with their church community. One chaplain commented "I have had a lovely time today and feel like I've made a lot of friends with those that came".
