Welcome to Pulman Class

It has been lovely to welcome our new Year 4 Class back after the Christmas holidays and hear about all of the lovely things they did during the break. We had a lovely first day back learning all about fossils, which is what we found in our discovery box. Hopefully, the children will be able to tell you about some of the interesting things that they have learnt.

This term we are going to be learning all about The Jurassic Coast, which will include a trip to Lyme Regis, which will include a visit to the museum and an opportunity for some fossil hunting! Pulman Class PE day will be on a Thursday afternoon, however, we may also do PE on other days, so please can your child keep their PE kit in school. We are also swimming on Friday mornings this half-term, so please ensure that your child has warm clothing to wear to and from the pool.  Also, we will have Outdoor Learning on a Wednesday afternoon, so please could they bring in suitable outdoor clothing. Finally, the children will be having trumpet lessons on a Wednesday afternoon with Mrs Wordley.

Have a look in the curriculum folder below to see all of the other exciting things that will be learning about this half-term. I will also regularly add photos, class letters and homework in the folders below.

Homework for Pulman Class is given out on a Friday and due in the following Friday.

Spellings - check in the homework folder below for copies of the spelling homework that will be going out this half-term.

Maths - each week the children will take home a copy of the times tables test that they are currently working on.

Please can the children continue to read every night and have their reading recorded by an adult. They also need to keep practicing their times tables every week.
