Pulman Class- Year 4

Prayers for our garden.

Welcome to Pulman Class

Welcome back, I hope that you all had a restful and enjoyable Easter holiday. Our first day back this term was Discovery Day. We were thinking all about Melanesia, which is where our link school is in the Solomon Islands. We learnt lots about where these islands are and many of the customs and traditions that they have there. We spent some time finding out about the garlands that they make and give to visitors to their islands. Then we made some of our own. Have a look at the gallery section below to see our beautiful creations! Just before the Easter holidays, we wrote prayers for our garden. You can see some photos of us planting them in the garden just above.

This term, we are learning all about The Shang Dynasty, we have already found out where and when it took place and we will be learning lots more over the coming weeks. There is a copy of the planning overview for this half-term, in the folder below. Pulman class will continue to have PE on Tuesdays and swimming on Fridays and trumpets on a Wednesday this half-term.

Have a good weekend
